We collect and verify mobile numbers via One-Time Password (OTP) to establish account security, reduce spam, and enable communications between buyers and sellers.
Names & Emails
When using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we collect your name and email to instantiate a secure and unique user profile. This is processed once during the initial onboarding.
Precise Location Data
We use pincode auto-detection and GPS location data (with explicit permission) to dynamically match customers with nearest automotive shopkeepers and optimize local search routing.
Image & Camera Access
Used for shopkeepers to upload shop profile pictures, scan QR codes for secure transactions, and publish visual listings of auto parts.
3. How We Use Information
Unlike typical platforms, PurzaSetu operates on a privacy-first standard.
We process core operational metadata locally on the client-side (inside your mobile application sandbox) to minimize external server footprint. We only sync essential transactional request details to our secure backend cloud servers, specifically to authorize and map buyer/seller connections.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Policy
In absolute compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1 (Account Deletion) and Google Play Developer policies, we provide a transparent, instantaneous, self-service account termination method inside the application:
Account Deletion Steps
- Launch the PurzaSetu App and log in to your registered account.
- Tap the Profile icon located in the bottom navigation menu.
- Select Account Settings or Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on the red Delete Account & Data button.
- Review the warning dialog showing deletion parameters and tap Confirm.
Data Action on Deletion: Once you request account deletion, all personal data, including your mobile verification tokens, profile names, saved location configurations, lists of upload assets, and messaging configurations are permanently scrubbed from our active production database cluster within 30 days. Log backups are rotated and securely purged within standard protocol timelines.
