This Privacy Policy describes how PurzaSetu(“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects user information when you use our mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as our website.

To deliver a seamless connection between vehicle owners (customers) and local spare parts shopkeepers (partners), PurzaSetu collects specific data points essential for the operation of the services:
Mobile Numbers (via OTP)
We collect and verify mobile numbers via One-Time Password (OTP) to establish account security, reduce spam, and enable communications between buyers and sellers.
Names & Emails
When using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we collect your name and email to instantiate a secure and unique user profile.
Precise Location Data
We use pincode auto-detection and GPS location data (with explicit permission) to dynamically match customers with nearest automotive shopkeepers.
Image & Camera Access
Used for shopkeepers to upload shop profile pictures, scan QR codes for secure transactions, and publish visual listings of auto parts.
3. How We Use Information
Unlike typical platforms, PurzaSetu operates on a privacy-first standard.
We process core operational metadata locally on the client-side to minimize external server footprint. We only sync essential transactional request details to our secure backend cloud servers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Policy
In absolute compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1 (Account Deletion) and Google Play Developer policies, we provide a transparent, instantaneous, self-service account termination method inside the application:
Account Deletion Steps
- Launch the PurzaSetu App and log in to your registered account.
- Tap the Profile icon located in the bottom navigation menu.
- Select Account Settings or Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap on the red Delete Account & Data button.
- Review the warning dialog and tap Confirm.
Data Action on Deletion: Once you request account deletion, all personal data is permanently scrubbed from our active production database cluster within 30 days.
6. Security & Safeguards
We deploy industry-grade physical, technical, and administrative safeguards:
- TLS Encryption: All transactional syncs use HTTPS Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3).
